Gone Fishing

gonefishingWe’re going to take a bit of a hiatus and actually try to get out and doing some fishing rather than just talking about.  It isn’t going to be a long break so please make sure you check back around June 22nd for new updates.

In the meantime check out one of the many things happening over the next ten days.

–          June 13 & 14: FFI Brownlee Reservoir Fish-Out

–          June 13: South Fork of the Boise River clean up.  Planned meeting time is between 8:00 – 9:00AM at the Reclamation Village area across from the Village boat ramp (Reclamation Village is about two miles below Anderson Ranch Dam).  Prizes awarded for the most trash picked up & the strangest item found.  Please RSVP by email or phone to mtoalson@cableone.net or 899-8612 and provide your email & phone if you can make it so they can get a headcount for refreshments and lunch.  Please wear long pants and shirt, gloves recommended, & good footwear. All tools and supplies will be provided by US Forest Service but you are welcome to bring your own.

–          June 19: FFI club picnic (click here for details)

–          The Trout Lie has posted a new fishing report as of June 11th.  Sounds like the Brown Drakes are heating on Sliver Creek.
