South Fork of the Boise, Planting for the future

bass rig 031

Special thanks to the FFI crew and a few new faces who worked on the Cow Creek drainage restoration program.   It was a great success. Over 80 volunteers from the local clubs, the forest service, veterans, and the Mountain Home Airmen.  We planted over 415 plants and 70 willow cuttings. This river is a real gem and a great resource to all lucky enough to fish it. Special thanks to the catering service from Grubbin BBQ in Middleton for the excellent lunch after a rewarding project. This is just the start for future restoration programs. Keep up the good work!  D. Sherron
