The Passing Of Terry Potter
I wanted to let the club know that my Dad (Terry) passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 20th. I was hoping you might be able to share the following with them. Everyone is more than welcome to attend any/all of his memorial events.

It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you all the passing of my father, Terry Potter. His life ended peacefully on the afternoon of July 20th. He fought until the very end, but it became apparent in those last few days that his body just couldn’t keep taking the beating ALS was giving him. I can only imagine he is now happily wading in a river and catching the most beautiful fish.
My Dad was a member of the Fly Fishers of Idaho for many years and enjoyed every single one of the trips he got to take with the club. I know the club trips to Duck Valley held a special place in his heart up until the very end. He truly loved fishing and bs-ing around the fire with all of his friends, and he shared so many incredible stories about the times you shared together.
It would be an absolute honor to have you join our family in remembering my Dad at any/all of the following events:
- Visitation and Rosary: Monday, July 31 (6:00 – 7:30 pm) at Bowman Funeral Parlor
- Memorial Mass: Tuesday, August 1 (10:00 am) at St. John’s Catholic Church
- Burial at Pioneer Cemetery following mass
Thank you all for being such a great friend to my Dad,
Stephanie Potter
