Hello members for starters i just want to thank all those who came out for our roadside cleanup, this was the largest group over the years, five more were already out on the road. I am currently working on changing the pickup area one mile back starting at mile post 112 -113 if that is oked by the Adapt a highway folks due to safety concerns.

Are guest speaker for November is Martin Koenig, this should be a great evening. Martin Koenig is an avid angler and biologist with Idaho Department of Fish and Game, coordinating conservation planning for several gamefish species across the state. He’ll dive into the biology, management and fishing opportunities for Cutthroat Trout across Idaho. Martin’s presentation will provide an overview of Idaho’s three native Cutthroat Trout subspecies: Westslope, Yellowstone, and Bonneville Cutthroat trouts. He will include a brief history of the species, their distribution in Idaho, and their typical life cycle and migrations. Martin will also highlight some recent fisheries management and conservation actions surrounding these species. Martin will provide some recommendations where anglers can find Cutthroat Trout, and also demonstrate some of the online tools available to find more information on how to locate these native gamefish. This months fishout will be on the Boise river in town meeting at Fish & Game on Nov 23 10:00 AM. Remember their is no meeting in December the Christmas party takes over Saturday Dec 7 6:30 Casa Mexico next to harbour freight. We need a head count on or before our Nov meeting.
